Campagnolo Centaur Black/Red Power Torque 10 Speed Chainset Completely new and redesigned by the Campy Tech Lab engineers according to a precise objective: to create a crankset that is easy to maintain, lightweight, and that retains the same U and Q factors of its "big brother" Ultra-Torque. But that wasn't enough. Campagnolo's engineers wanted to do more; i.e. to drastically improve shifting performance. The ultra-high quality bearings, positioned in the most extreme points of the central axle, guarantee the maximum smoothness and perfect efficiency of the pedalling over time. The new Power Torque System used for the Centaur crankset is the ideal solution for the Campagnolo 10s drivetrains, with high rigidity of the cranks and chainrings along with an extremely limited weight, to achieve the most efficient power transmission. - Forged aluminium cranks - Chainrings with MPS (Micro Precision Shifting) - Light-alloy sheared-drawn chainrings with antifriction treatment - 8 pins on the large chainring - Integrated POWER-TORQUE axle - Requires POWER-TORQUE BB cups - Weight: 738g

        • Would this crank replace a veloce power torque campagnolo crank ?
        • Thanks for your query.

A Centaur chainset could be used to replace a Veloce one.

        • I have a 10 speed veloce set up with a 34/50 chainset I am thinking about purchasing the Campagnolo Centaur Blk/Red PT 10S C/Set you have for sale. I have just fitted a new chain I brought from you will I need the four links you sell or will another new chain have enough links.
        • Thanks for getting in touch.

The chain will depend upon the ratio of the cassette also. If the ratios are remaining the same, then it is likely that a new chain would not be required. Without seeing the bicycle, I am afraid it is difficult for me to say.
