      Q&A
        • What is the rake?
Is this fork suitable for 49mm drop Ultegra brakes?
        • Thanks for your query.

The rake is 45mm and is designed to be used with a standard drop (49mm) brake.

        • Can you please tell me what diameter the crown is so I can judge whether or not the fork will look okay with a conventional (external) headset? Thanks.
        • Hi Gordon,

The crown diameter is approx 45mm.

        • Are these forks a suitable replacement for the Premium slice ones fitted to my Cannondale Caad8?
        • Thank you for your question.

These forks should fit any frame with a conventional straight-through (1 1/8") steerer.
From an aesthetic point of view, these forks have a crown diameter of approx. 45mm; ideally this should closely match the external width of the frame at the base of the headtube.

          I hope this helps.

          Chris,
