      1. Poor set of Wheels
They were half price but on first use it was clear that the rear was not true (a slight buckle) and rolled badly partly because the freehub was not smooth and created allot of friction when freewheeling

      2. Great set of wheels for the price
I bought these wheels initially to just use the rear wheel as a spare with an indoor tyre on my trainer, but decided they looked good so would give them a try in the real world. I complete a 100KM cycle on them with no problems and looked well on the bike - the lads i was cycling with were surprised by the low price.
Highly recommend as a spare/winter set.

        • Hello, isn't it compatible whit 8 speed shimano?
        • Thanks for the query.

An 8 speed cassette could be used, with a spacer behind of the cassette.

        • Can these be used with a 7 speed cassette?
        • Thanks for getting in touch.

If a spacer is placed behind of the cassette, then a 7 speed could be used.

        • Im using a 10 speed shimano cassette, and with the advised spacer behind the cassette the locking nut is not deep enough to catch the thread to hold the cassette on! Please advise
        • Hi Ash,
I'm covering for someone on holiday here and only have experience of using a 9 speed cassette on Rodi wheels. Are you sure that your cassette and spacers are clean? I've had problems fitting cassettes when there is dirt between them. If it's a new cassette could I ask you to ring our Customer Services team on +44 (0)1772 336800.

          Many thanks,
          Ribble Cycles.
        • Does the 9/10 Shimano hub variant still require a spacer for a 10-speed cassette, or does that only apply to the 9/10/11 hub variant?
        • Thanks for the query.

A 1mm spacer is required for a 10 speed cassette however this is usually pre-fitted to the cassette itself.

        • Does the campag version require a spacer for 10 speed?
        • Thanks for your query.

No spacer is required for Campagnolo cassettes and freehubs.
