Good so far ...I usually ride custom built wheels and stay away from factory built wheels. I was refurbishing my beloved Colnago C-40 and decided to go with these for the all out Italian look. I'm pleasantly surprised by them. They handle really nice and feel fast. I have Vittoria Open Corsa G+ tires on them, which have to be the nicest tires I've ever ridden (and priced the lowest at Ribble). The spokes are laced from the rim directly into the hub. There's no j-bend like on most wheels. I'm hoping this design makes them strong. They have a classic look and the decals are easy to peel off if you use a hair dryer (I left the Campagnolo decals on).
Cons -- they weighed 75 grams more than claimed, but that's still pretty light. If you break a spoke, you have to buy a "spoke kit" for $100. Hopefully, I won't break one, because that kind of sucks and is the reason I usually buy wheels made of parts that aren't proprietary. -
SuperbI was not prepared for how well these wheels absorb road chatter, storm grates and the like, amazing! Stiff when they need to be and compliant otherwise, quite a trick. They do accelerate like the add copy says and climb with ease. My set weighed in at 1523g which is close enough for me considering the ride quality. I combined them with Schwalbe One tires and ultra light butyl tubes. This seems to be a great combination. Ribble's service to the states was excellent.

- Are these wheels ok with 35mm tyres
-
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
These will work with 25mm tyres, however if you require 35mm tyres, then you will need a CX wheel, as these will not be wide enough.

Hi,
I favor lighter tyres for climbing. Will these fit with 700X20 tyres?
Thanks -
Thanks for your question.
Unfortunately this tyre width is not recommended for these rims.
