TubularGreatest tubular, perfectly balance, weight, durability and rolling resistance
-
GoodThis is a high cost performance tire for racers. I use this tire repeating for years.
-
Good, durable tire. Extremely difficult to mountA good quality, durable tire. Not as supple of a feel due to the butyl tube and tougher sidewalls, but a great balance nonetheless. Tire is extremely tight and difficult to mount, even after stretching. Stretch before applying glue, and stretch afterwards as well.

Very good productI have been using them for several years and have to say its a great product. Sometimes it's difficult to buy in wider sizes through Ribbles website.
Would buy it again.

- Beginner to deep section wheels with continental competitions. The screw type valve has a non screw extension. If I puncture in ironman I'm guessing I have to remove tyre to expose screw valve in order to get pit stop in??? TIA PBP
-
Thanks for your question.
If you use these with the continental screw-in extensions (http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/continental-valve-extensions-pair/#pid=8168), they will take the valve core of the tubular, which can then be removed in the event of a puncture to allow easier filling.

Can this tire be used on track?
if no, which tire is used for velodrome track? -
Thanks for your question.
Unfortunately, this would not be compatible.
For track use, you should choose either the Tempo II (https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/continental-tempo-ii-track-tubular/#pid=7323) or Sonderclasse II (https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/continental-sonderklasse-ii-tubular/#pid=7962) tubulars.
