Description
A compact, highly elastic rubber breaker makes the Touring Plus extremely resistant. Stones, glass splinters and thorns have no chance. Whatever you ride over will find it virtually impossible to pierce the thick Security Breaker band under the tread.
The layer strength of the breaker is adapted to the rolling movement of the tyre. The Touring Plus Reflex remains very comfortable in spite of its protective coating and rolls and steers very lightly.
- Extremely tough puncture-proof layer is virtually impenetrable to stones, glass and thorns
- For those riders whose only concern is puncture protection
- High grade silica tread compound for high mileage and improved adhesion under all conditions
- Weight: 580g (700x28)
Inflation Pressure (psi):
700x28mm rec 80 max 102
700x32mm rec 70 max 80
700x37mm rec 58 max 70

Value, Wear & ProtectionI have been impressed by these Tyres.
Bought originally by my wife for daily cycling & touring from Tissington to the Guild Wheel to name just a Couple. She has had no punctures in two years.
I've now decided to change my Tyres to these for my Hybrid.
They are also fantastic Value for Money.

Overall value for moneyBeen running a 28mm on my rear since 2012 on my shopping/pub/touring 20 yr old 531 framed racer. 4 years & 4-5K miles later it has only just become unridable now following its first ever puncture and it had double the life of previous Conti gator skins and totally surpassed them for Puncture resistance. Still some centre rubber left but I noticed the rear of the bike was becoming unstable especially under load and upon close examination the sidewall was failing. Was very tight to fit originally - need a couple of 125mm long velcro straps (far better than cable ties) to compress it into the rim well and hold it whilst using the tyre levers. Grip is good enough with fair trade off between weight/rolling & puncture resistance. Withstood heavy loading from the food shopping. Needs a minimum 80 PSI kept up to keep it moving well, gives a ride on the hard side but one I generally prefer and one I'm used to from my ALU & carbon fast bike anyway. Overall fair-good value for my money. Put this review up as it was getting some negative flack from some other reviews that seemed a tad harsh from my experience. Currently trying a same size Schwalbe touring plus on the rear.

Hi there!
I was wondering if you could help with sizing of the continental pro tire. I have a hybrid bike with 700x rim and I use 700x35/50c tubes. I am not sure if I need the x28mm x32mm or x37mm tires to buy. Could you help me with this question please?
Regards
Attila -
Thank you for your question.
To use the same inner tubes safely, we can only recommend the 37mm tyre width.
