Title: Mobile Mechanic (Showroom Logistics)
Reports To Returns Manager
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Salary: £26,000 Per Annum

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic to play a pivotal role in the expansion of our Mobile Mechanic initiative, forming part our remote network, to support in the delivery of store collection bikes to all of our showrooms. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for attending each of our national showrooms at least once per week in order to deliver bikes, fully assembled and completing additional quality checks prior to store handover. In addition, you will be required to complete any adjustments, fixes or repairs on any bike either being delivered to a showroom, or on one that is already located at one of our showrooms. There may also be occasion when you are required to attend a customer’s home address to either deliver, collect or undertake a bike repair. To succeed in this role, you need to be enthusiastic, organised, possess mechanical knowledge of Ribble models, have exceptional communication skills and be able to use your own initiative in order to resolve complex customer queries/repairs remotely. As you will be using tablets, laptops, and EBM hardware/software a good level of technological knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications is desirable. Full training is provided. This role entails a lot of driving and national travel will be required. A full clean driving license is essential.
Key areas of responsibility include
- Delivering store collection bikes to each of our showrooms as required
- Collecting/returning bikes to each of our showrooms as required
- Resolving Post-Despatch Technical, Maintenance & Set Up Queries
- Undertaking comprehensive quality assurance checks prior to handover
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement
- Fault/Issue Reporting & Data Collation
Essential Experience/Skills
- Full Clean UK License
- Excellent Bike Technical/Mechanical Knowledge
- Ability To Build, Dismantle, Repair.
- Bike Service Experience.
- Ability To Set Up Tubeless Systems, Install Additional Adhoc Upgrades & Components Essential.
- Excellent Communication Skills
