RB56 Sport Carbon Clincher Wheelset

The perfect blend of aerodynamic efficiency, rim brake compatible technology and weight, RB56 is an ultra-versatile road racing wheelset for bikes equipped with rim brakes. The 56mm rim profile and lightweight carbon build deliver outstanding performance and crosswind stability and make these wheels perfect for road racers or triathletes looking for blistering speed, electrifying acceleration, and super-stable crosswind stability.

Built up using a 56mm Hi-TG carbon rim laced into lightweight alloy hubs with 24 j-bend spokes creates an incredibly strong and dependable wheelset. Tubeless-ready rims of 26mm external and 17.5mm internal diameters are ideal for 23-28mm tyres and cross tyres up to 40mm.

- Suitable for 6 bolt disc brakes ?

  These wheels are designed for rim brake-equipped bikes, hence them featuring quick-release axles and a braking surface. We have given the LEVEL wheels two simple designations to tell them apart; DB (disc brake) and RB (rim brake). These wheels are RB56, therefore they are only suitable for bikes with rim brakes and they have a rim depth of 56mm deep. The DB56 wheels are currently out of stock so we only have the 40mm deep version available. https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/level-40db-comp-carbon-wheelset/. You would need 6-bolt converters for hat type of brake, however.

  Shimano has made the new 12-speed cassettes backwards compatible with existing 11-speed freehubs. So LEVEL wheels are still compatible.

  The wheels have a 17.5mm inner rim diameter which is ideal for 23-28mm tyre widths and wider cross style tyres up to 45mm.
