Excellent inner tubes but need careful fittingI have used these latex tubes for years on my best bikes, running them with either Veloflex or Vitoria Open tyres.
Latex tubes give a fantastic ride and feel, they are the finishing touch on a "best" bike build.
Disadvantages are:
They are porus, so need regular topping up, and, they require much more care in fitting.
A tip is to inflate the tube to about 20psi, cover with talcum powder and fit to the wheel without using tyre levers, if tyre is tight to fit use a VAR tyre tool. Do not ever use normal tyre levers as you'll pinch the tubes!!! -
like tubulari love my tires with latex tube, comfort reminds me of tubular, something i didn't feel with clincher. I pair them with conti II or with veloflex corsa 23mm, feel like 25mm. Great.

Great performance, but requires careful fittingI have used Michelin latex tubes for years, they really do improve the performance of the tyre.I use them on my best bikes with either Vittoria or Veloflex open tubular tyres.
They do require careful fitting, a tip is to use plenty of talc and try to fit without using tyre levers. If tyre is tight then ONLY use a VAR tyre tool. -
Latex seems faster than ButylA good inner tube that was easy to fit. Leaks air so that the tyre need re inflating every time I ride. Happy with this item.
