Having to stop a ride because of a snapped or damaged chain can be a nightmare, but with the right tool you will be able to fix a chain at the roadside. Using the Ribble R-CT Chain Tool you will be able to remove any damaged links from the chain. The long handles of this chain tool mean you can exert greater power to push out the chain pin. If you carry around some spare 'Quick Links' the chain can then be connected back together in a matter of minutes. Just make sure you have the correct quick link for your chain.
Compact and easily slipped into a jersey pocket or saddle bag

Its a chain whip!
Visited the Ribble website 'Accessories' page looking for mudguards to fit to my recently acquired CGR Al e (which instantly became my second favourite bike of all time*) and stumbled across the bargain clear-out section which has a ton of stuff in it that you do actually want, need and use on a regular if not daily basis. Check it out and bag stocking fillers for your pals/children/ride buddies.
Amongst the items is a chain whip which will replace the home-made whip that my 14 year old son concocted from a length of dead chain and a length of broom handle when he needed to service one of his mates free-wheel. So now, not only is he going to get a Saracen Ariel full-suss Carbon frame (2020) for Christmas, he's getting a pukkah chain whip too. Maybe it'll be put to good use as he's building the new bike up over the next six months.
Sadly, Ribble's accessories page doesn't contain suitable mudguards to protect us winter riders from back splash and the reproach of our ride buddies.Maybe we'll see them in the store based on this review.
* My CGR Al e is second only to my tailored W.G.Twiddle that I had built for me as a sports tourer way back in the dim and distant and still rides out on sunny summer sunday rides.

A great solid tool
Bought this to replace a cheap tool I didn't want to trust on my new bike. Well made, very solid, and an essential addition to the toolbox.

Good quality for the price.
At this price I wasn't expecting much; but it is better quality, and has longer lever arms than my previous tool. Great value.

Haven’t used yet but at such a good deal they were a no brainer

Not used it yet... but added to my order when buying other things. Great quality for the price... and with Ribble's reputation what's not to like!
