Excellent. Easy operation, very smooth gears, plenty of power, light (as I sometimes have to take it on train)
After sales service great, as I damaged part of the head set and they sent me a free replacement of the whole set the next day.
However, bar height cannot be raised. I'm 75 and this would have been a help.
I finally collected my excellent Ribble Hybrid Al-e a couple of weeks ago from Clitheroe where Olly was very helpful in taking me through its spec and operation. Since then I've ridden it most days and only 1 issue has arisen - a very noisy front brake. Bedding in was something I expected but advice from your online assistant - that I should brake sharp and hard 15 times - seemed to go against other online advice from elsewhere. So the noise persists. Help! The bike is light and easy to handle and the elctric assist just waht I need. Paint work on the rack could be better as use of pannier and other luggage has marked it already. Maybe a top up paint pot should be added to the accessories bag.
All in all I'm a happy customer but feel that, whilst supply chain delays were unforseeable, taking the full cost right at the outset (over 7 months before deivery) isn't great customer service. Additionally the two main arms of your public facing operations (customer service staff and shop staff) should talk to each other a little more about individual customers needs. I failed to get promised emails and call backs.
