Our Black Edition innertubes are designed as the perfect finishing touch for your bike. With an impeccably-finished anodised black valve, lock-ring and valve cap, these tubes are the perfect ‘icing on the cake’ for your bike.

The Black Edition innertubes were born out of our desire to finish our own bikes to the highest standard. It’s always been frustrating to have brass valves poking out of our lovely colour-co-ordinated rims, so we decided to develop something ourselves.

We wanted these tubes to ride as good as they look, so we partnered with a tried and tested innertube producer, who make tubes for many of the market-leading tyre and tube brands. These tubes are right up there with the best in terms of their reliability and durability.

We wanted the finish on the valves to be peerless so we tried and tested numerous finishes and treatments until we found one that met our high standards. To pass our rigorous criteria the valves had to endure 5 days of being submerged in a bath of Muc-Off; have the cap and lock ring tightened and removed hundreds of times; and survive hundreds of miles of riding in the Autumn/Winter season. Lots of products we tested fell by the way side and failed our criteria, but we’re pleased to bring you only the best final product, that soared through all of our tests…the perfect partner for your bike.
