SL R7000 - New Shimano 105
The SL takes pride of place at the very top of our lightweight, carbon road bike range. It’s the lightest frame that we have designed and built to date and it comes in at only 840g on the weighing scale (medium frame). This bike is for riders looking for every advantage on our lightest machine for road and circuit racing or epic challenge rides in the hills and big mountains. Wherever you want to ride fast the SL is designed to give you the edge and keep you right at the sharp end of your race.
We’ve paired our award-winning, best-selling carbon road bike with Shimano’s latest iteration of the ubiquitous 105 groupset: R7000.
R7000 features a re-designed chainset with a gloss black finish reminiscent of Ultegra R8000’s new design. The hoods and levers have been completely re-thought, having under-gone an ergonomic refresh that has made the whole unit less bulky and easier to use. The front and rear derailleurs have been visually overhauled as well as receiving a healthy dose of trickle-down technology from Ultegra resulting in a lighter, shorter shift.
In short, R7000 now offers most of the peloton-dominating tech as Ultegra, at a fraction of the cost. It’s never made more sense to ride 105!
