New bike dayBought my Daughters new bike from Ribble and she loves it. Even though the service was all online correspondence it was second to none from start to finish with regular updates and progress reports. The build was faultless and delivery time was shorter than I’d expected which was an added bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again from Ribble and I will recommend to anyone looking for a new bike.

- 1. What is the weight? 2. Does it have a carbon or aluminium steerer? 3. Is the steerer tapered?
-
Hi,
The weight comes in at roughly 500g, the steerer tube on the fork is Carbon, and is tapered.
Thanks,
Team Ribble

- What is the rake on this fork?
-
Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry,
In the web description (copied below) it lists an 'offset' of 45, offset is another way of describing 'rake'. We hope this helps.

- I have a Ribble Gran Fondo (2014 ish) with Campagnolo group set - I love it. I recently tried to change my tyres from 23c to 25c. The forks don't have the clearance. Would these forks fit my frame and solve my issue?
-
Hi,
Sadly the early Fondo was limited to 23mm tyres especially if they are conti tyres. Conti tyres sit taller on the rim than other brands so require more clearance. It actually requires non tapered forks that are 1 1/8" throughout the length of the steerer rather than these which are tapered 1 1/8" to 1 1/2". We have no forks of this size available sorry.
