Spoke breakagesI'm downgrading my August 2017 review due to spoke breakages. I've done at least 6 spokes on the rear wheel. Fortunately I haven't had any spokes break on the front. The usual break point is where the spoke enters the nipple, rendering the nipple useless. And they're relatively long nipples, so it's hard to find suitable replacements. But as I said earlier, the bike gets a real beating, often going where road bikes shouldn't go (I'm 70kg). So the wheels could still be considered fit for purpose.

Good looking wheelsetHad these wheelset for 10 months now and done thousand of miles still true and straight
-
Airline evoHad these on for around 6 months and done many miles no problems at all and they are super smooth and look great

Not good choiseBought the wheels in Russia brand new for 70 pounds. Rather poor wheels because of their weight. Poor nipples - 3 of them are broken. Weak rims - 30 km of moderate ride at a highway - 2mm radial play. Thу cheapest Mavic wheelset is the better choise.

cheap in price and quality!I am surprised these got such good reviews. I have been using these wheels for less than six months and have already had three spoke failures (two in the front and one in the rear). I do ride on some rough city streets, but have never experienced this with previous wheelsets (campagnolo, fulcrum).

- Can this wheel set be converted to tubeless successfully?
-
Thanks for the query.
I am unaware of anyone who has converted these wheels to tubeless. They are not designed to run tubeless, and so would advise against any modifications.

Do I need a spacer for Campag Xenon 9 speed.
If so how much? I will also need tyres. -
Hi Bernard,
I've bought these wheels in the past and used them with 9 speed Campag cassettes just fine.
This is what you need.
