Quality part and very good priceA great item with the usual Shimano quality. A fantastic price and unable to find another new one at the same low price anywhere else.

Great rear derailleurI needed a new rear derailleur as my Ultegra 6700 was creating some chain sag that I could not get ride of not matter what tinkering I did. So I ummed and ahhed and in the end I plumped for a new 105 rear derailleur and at 21.49 on ribble it was a no brainer. It went on smoothly and shifting is crisp and clean. Not sure that I can tell the difference between them. But at this price point it is hard to quibble.

- I have a long version of the 105 rear derailler. If I move to a short cage version will I need to resize the chain?
-
Thanks for the query.
If moving to a short cage, you need to ensure that the gear ratio you are using can be used with it first. You will also need to shorten the chain. If in doubt, contact your bicycle mechanic.

- what is "maximum front difference 16 t " Also total capacity 33t what do these mean
-
Thanks for getting in touch.
These numbers are for determining what length cage is required. Certain combinations of ratios require a certain length of derailleur. If you need help choosing, please provide your chainset size and ratio of cassette.
