Just as I'd expectNot being blessed with the finances to upgrade to 11 speed, an 11-28 8 speed cassette to replace my compact 12-26 was a blessing. Great value at a tenner and quick delivery. It's made hills much easier. Thanks guys as you're the only place I could find this.

Excellent quality cassette.I required a new 8 speed 11-32T cassette and this HG51 is a higher spec than than the HG41 model for sale elsewhere and added to which at a very reasonable price.The nickel plated finish ensures smooth shifts and greater durability than the HG41 model. I chose 11-32T over an 11-34T HG41 (Mega range) because of the big jump from the 26T sprocket to the 34T. To be honest 32T is plenty low enough for most people.

- I am quite confused by the shimano chain specifications. Could you suggeat a chain that would be compatible with this cassette?

Thanks for the query.
You will need to use an 8 speed chain, and so the following is a perfect match;

- hi, what is the difference between hg51 and hg41 cassettes
-
Thanks for the query.
The HG number refers to the quality of the item and where it sits in the Shimano range. Usually the higher you go the cassettes get coatings to help prevent corrosion.
