It stands for state-of-the-art technology, proven in pro races, the technologies used in the new Ultegra 6870 series are perfect for the racer or enthusiastic weekend rider. The big advantage of using a Di2 groupset is that the gearing self-aligns whilst being used, and is fully supported by the Shimano E-tube programme which allows you to fine tune and run diagnostics.
