Q&A (2)

- Is the rear derailleur in this set capable of taking in the maximum number of chain links in this sets gear range? I.e 18+ 29=47, not that you should use it like this. I thought the max was 39 in the XT range?

  This will be supplied with the SGS (long-cage) rear mech, which is for use with the triple configuration.

  I am looking at upgrading my gear sets. I live in NOrway where there is a huge amount of hills( mountains) and I need a better gear set up for all the climbing.
