          • Ribble Ti Sportive Racing Frame

"Oh my goodness, what a frame. I have been riding a 7005 Audax as my daily commute bike (about 70km per day in & out of London) for about 15 months and switched to this Ti frame over Christmas. The frame is a little lighter, but I added a Evo 6 carbon disk fork (Spyre HYD brakes), carbon bars and seat port (Brand-X) and ported over all my other bits from the 7005. This means it's running Ultegra 11 speed with Mavic OpenPro / Hope wheels and a nice Specialized Toupe seat and ends up about 500g lighter than the 7005 Audax. The difference in ride is just amazing. The frame geometry is a delight: sporty, comfortable and great for long rides. I've been riding through the winter and it gives great confidence on fast descents in greasy conditions. It is fabulously responsive and smooth, and the difference in ride vs the 7005 is very noticeable. The frame finish is superb: beautiful welding. It looks and rides like a GBP1200+ frame but it costs GBP800. An amazing bargain. My only gripe is the lack of a replaceable rear drop out, but the rear mech is well protected and the dropout is a butch fella... I can't imagine it being easily damaged. Ribble, you have outdone yourselves with this frame. It brings a smile to my face every day even in these sub-zero conditions. Very highly recommended. ..."

"Useful size with applicator meaning no waste or mess..."

          • Campagnolo Veloce/Centaur Cassette - 9 Speed

"I got this to allow my well aged self to ride an older steel Trek rebuild. Am using a sweet 1998 Veloce 9 speed group and it's knee/old age unfriendly 52-39 chainset. Got the 14-28, just what I need for the slower speeds I now ride at, can still maintain a brisk cadence. Shifts great with the all Campy drivetrain, just as good as my other, newer 10 and 11 speed Ergo's and 105 setups IMO. Steel cogs but so what, they'll last longer...."

          • Continental Race Supersonic Inner Tube

"Bought three and fitted them to new Continental 4 Season 700x23, 25, & 25. Two slow-punctured spontaneously in the absence of sharps, a 23mm and 25mm. Repaired both, one held, but the other exploded because the patch constricted the tyre too much when fully inflated - it went off with one hell of a bang! Immediately, the cat and I both jumped onto the ceiling with fright. These tubes should be supplied with special, thin, super-elastic puncture patches. You have been warned! ..."

          • Moon Crescent Rear Light

"This is my second Moon rear LED having had a previous older model and been pleased with it. I love the low profile design which neatly fits on the seatpost, however the new clamp band is quite bulky and can catch your legs - I got round this by using the clamp from my old Moon LED. The brightness and run-times are spot on with the Strobe giving up to 6hrs which is more than ample and means you don't have to re-charge everyday...."
