      1. Extremely happy with tyres
I've had lots of tyres on different bikes and have to say i'm pretty chuffed with these. I've used Continental Gatorskin before which were great for puncture resistance but found them very dodgy to cycle in the wet and especially at this time of year when the leaves start to fall. I've had a set of Schwalbe marathon plus as well but smallest width they come in is a 25 and I don't have enough clearance between the wheel and frame to fit them so looked elsewhere.

I checked Schwalbe's own site and noticed these tyres which do come in a 23 tyre so lots of searching online for them. They only place that stocked them was Ribble so promptly ordered a set. Keen price, an doddle to fit and although i've only done 200/300 km since fitting them they seem pretty sure footed in the wet.

      2. Tough as nails touring tyre
I sold a set of these tyres after 6 years of touring use.
        Could not wear them out.
        Never flatted once.
Side wall was in good shape with minor cracking at 6 years.
I bought another set as I like riding on shiny new tyres.

      Q&A
        • Hi.
What size is 28x1 1/2? There is already listed a 28x1.50 so I'm confused. thx.
        • Thanks for the query.

          They are 2 different sizes.

          28 x 1 1/2 has an ISO measurement of 40-635.
28x1.5 has an ISO measurement of 40-622.

A modern road bike makes use of the 622 size. If you check your current tyre you will see what size is required from the markings on the sidewall.

        • 28x1 1/2 same as 28x1.50 ( 700x38)? What does 28x1.75 translate to in 700?
