Good quality tyre for a great price! This tyre is a huge improvement on the standard tyres which came with the bike I purchased a few months ago and after shopping around online I couldn't find anywhere which sold this tyre cheaper. Since I bought the tyre I'm yet to have a puncture, so it is well worth the money if your prone to getting a flat tyre.

Ideal for commutingI've use these tyres now in all the 700c sizes for about 8 years.
They are always excellent. Rolling resistance is very good. Puncture resistance is good too. I do still get a puncture about once a year, but far fewer than with other tyres.
I now only use 32c width. I've found the wider tyres makes no difference to speed but is so much more comfortable and possible slightly more puncture resistant. -
Helpful service from start to finish with a competitive priceI ordered some winter tyres for my road bike, Continental Gatorskins, which I have used before. Ribble were the most competitively priced for a pair and given that the product is Continental I generally go with the cheapest outlet. Ribble's service was excellent and even when I had a query with customer service I had a response from them within a couple of hours. Product arrived as expected.

- Do I need inner tube? What size?
-
Hi,
Thanks for your enquiry,
The size of inner tube you require is dependent upon the size of tyre you run and the depth of your wheel rim. You will see inner tubes described for example as being 700 x 18/25 or 700 x 25/32. The first figure is the wheel size of 700c road, the 2nd 2 sets of figures are the the width each tube is designed to suit.
They will also be described as a valve length 42, 60mm or 80mm.

- Will a 32c tyre fit my dawes giro 300 road bike. I have usually used 23 or possibly 25c tyres. Very happy to have wider fit but wondering if they would only be suitable for hybrid/commuter style bike.

Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry,
We are not familiar with this model of bike sorry so we cannot confirm for sure sorry. However, as this appears to be a road-specific model and not a tourer and is fitted with caliper brakes it is unlikely to accept a 32mm tyre. Most road caliper brakes will only cope with a maximum of 28mm tyres. If you have 28mm tyres already fitted you may need to judge how much clearance you have for yourself or ask for a second opinion from a fellow cyclist.

- Would a 28 or 32mm version of this tyre fit on the Mavic Askium rims fitted to my Gran Fondo bought in 2017?
-
Hi,
If you have a disc Gran Fondo I believe the maximum tyre clearance is 28mm, and on caliper brakes I think it is a 25mm.
They will definitely fit on the rim, it is a question of whether they will fit to the frame.
