Continental GP5000 S TR Tubeless Road Tyre - 700x28mm

With the previous model already significantly improved compared to the old GP4000 S II model (17% in rolling resistance, 25% in puncture resistance), the GP5000S TR raises the bar in the allround road tyre market to previously unseen levels! • Tubeless Tech: The patented carcass construction is robust and impervious against foreign objects. The tyre can be fitted tubeless or with an inner tube.

• Black Chili Compound: Nanotechnology is used to produce the black carbon particles that are used to reinforce the rubber compound. Continental refine special synthetic rubbers with natural rubber to create high-performance tread mixtures.
• Lazer Grip: Feel at one with the road. The lasered micro profile structure expands over the tyre’s shoulder and provides outstanding cornering.
• Vectran™: The benchmark in puncture protection, Vectran™ is a synthetically manufactured high-tech fibre from a natural model. Like spider silk, Vectran™ is a liquid-crystalline polymer (LCP). It's spun from the melted liquid polymer Vectra and processed further to a multi-strand thread. Thanks to its spider silk-like structure, Vectran™ offers enormous tear resistance at a very low weight: Exactly the right ingredients for a highly competitive race tyre with unbeatable puncture protection. A Vectran™ Breaker is lighter, more flexible and protects more effectively against cuts than the comparable nylon breaker without adversely impacting rolling resistance.
