The choice of many of the pro’s, Sidi Cycling Shoes are well known for having a comfortable fit and classic Italian styling
The most important thing with any cycling shoe that you purchase is that they are comfortable to wear straight out of the box. This is due to their construction, having a solid sole, which do not give or break-in like a normal shoe does.
To help with the sizing of the shoes, Sidi have provided a comparison chart which is uploaded onto every Sidi cycling shoe. It can also be viewed here; Sidi Shoe Size Comparison. When trying on the shoes, make sure you wear the socks you will be cycling in, and also consider trying them on in an afternoon as your feet swell slightly during the day.
For the ultimate fit, Sidi shoes feature a variety of technical innovations, all designed to provide the cyclist with the best fit and comfort achievable.
The soft instep closure system is a wide, curved strap with padding that distributes pressure evenly over the instep of your foot. It is adjustable on both sides so to perfectly position the pad in the centre of your foot.
For infinite adjustment, the Techno-3 System dial fits along the entire length of the shoe and adapts the upper to the shape of the foot for a truly customised fit by using a wire material which evenly applies pressure throughout the shoe on closure.
Designed to get the most secure fit around the riders heel, the device tightens the top of the heel cup so that any lifting of the heel is reduced to a minimum. Each side of the device can be adjusted to get the most secure fit for any rider.
Sidi road shoes are compatible with the standard 3 bolt road cleat fixings so can be used with pedals such as Shimano SPD-SL and Look models.
Sidi mountain bike shoes are compatible the standard 2 bolt cleat fixings as found on Shimano SPD pedals, and many others.
If you are using Speedplay pedals, there are 2 options for mounting the cleats to your shoes.
