Job Description

Your role is to carefully assist our customers through the Ribble purchasing process as well as offering expert support and advice pre and post purchase. At Ribble we aim to make sure that our customers are treated with respect and care and receive the expert help and information they require to ensure that they have a great buying experience.

We are seeking a cycling obsessed team player that will strengthen our customer service department.
Primarily office based, you will be communicating with customers via email and telephone, answering product and order queries. 

Ribble also has a showroom which displays our extensive bike range. You will be required to provide advice and product information to visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
On occasion you will also be offered the opportunity to help at trade shows & exhibitions.

Requirements / Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent product knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Helpful and proactive attitude.
• Ability to empathise and adapt advice and support to different customer product knowledge and experience levels.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment ensuring all customer contact is answered in line with business expectations.
• Effective cross functional communication to key stakeholders across the business.
• Excellent team player with very strong interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate with strong organisational and admin skills.

Useful to have

• Experience in CRM systems
• Experience with EPOS systems is desirable
• Passion for sports e.g. Cycling, running, swimming
