Job Description:

Are you seeking part-time work to fit around your life and family commitments? Do you have great communication skills, a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn? Then you could be one of our new part-time Customer Service Advisors here at Ribble Cycles.

You will have fixed, unchanging shifts every week so that you can easily plan your life and family commitments around the role.

You will work 20 hours per week, 4 days in the week and either a Saturday or Sunday Afternoon.

Our hours are: Monday: 17:00-21:00, Tuesday 17:00-21:00, Wednesday 17:00-21:00, Thursday 17:00-21:00, Friday 17:00-21:00, Saturday 12:00-18:00, Sunday 12:00-18:00.

The role of a Customer Service Advisor at Ribble Cycles is diverse, interesting, and no two days are ever the same. Working in our contact centre you will be required to assist our customers through the whole purchasing process, including offering support and advice both before and after they purchase a bike. Dealing with a range of queries to ensure the customer's experience is seamless and enjoyable.

Here at Ribble, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every customer with respect and care; you will not only be providing expert advice, but you will also be there to fix their problems and build rapport so that our customers know they can trust us to deliver both an exceptional bike and a friendly experience throughout the entire process.

We are seeking a team player with strong interpersonal skills, fantastic problem-solving skills and exceptional written and verbal communication, you'll be fully trained to gain the knowledge you will need to effectively communicate with our customers and answer all of their queries.

You will be based in our Walton Summit office where you will be communicating with customers via email, telephone and our live chat system. At the Walton Summit office, we also have our workshop and showroom, so you can expect to be fully immersed and welcomed into the Ribble family.

Walton Summit is on a main bus route from Preston, Chorley and Bolton, with frequent services throughout the day.
