Advanced Aero Design

The SL R is fast, it’s that simple. We have taken the innovations we pioneered from our Ultra-Aero race bike and incorporated them into the SL R. Starting at the front of the bike, a wider fork profile and aero headtube, slice effortlessly through the air. The downtube flares out around the lower section to direct airflow around the bottle and cage, making this bike faster with a bottle fitted than without and increasing the stiffness of the bottom bracket area.

The Allroad SL R features an internal storage compartment for stashing your favourite tools, nutrition, and a spare tube, maintaining the bike’s sleek design and aerodynamics. The optional RIFTT Wrap ensures rattle-free storage. Our exclusive carbon composite downtube bottle cage can be bolted to the compartment door for optimal airflow, helping to maximise the aero advantage. Optional mounts for computers, lights, and removable mudguards are also available for added accessory customisation

The M46/T1000 carbon fibre monocoque frame weighs 995 g, and the matching full carbon forks 475 g (based on a medium frame).

We offer a lifetime warranty on all Ribble frames and forks for the original purchaser. This covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, so you can ride with complete confidence. The standard manufacturer's warranty covers all other components.

The frame accommodates tyres up to 38mm (depending on the tread profile) and is fully compatible with mudguards and 32mm tyres.

Yes. Our exclusive mudguard conversion kit allows full-length mudguards to be fitted with up to 32 mm tyres (kit available separately)

Yes. Our exclusive mudguard and pannier conversion kit allows a pannier rack to be fitted, so you can carry whatever belongings you need (kit available separately).

The Allroad SL R features a proprietary D-shaped carbon seat post exclusive to our Allroad carbon line up (included).

When tightening the seat post wedge, do not exceed a maximum torque of 9- 10 Nm.

We recommend a total system weight of 120 kg (bike, rider, and luggage).

The frameset accepts a 68mm BSA threaded bottom bracket.

The Allroad SL R features identical R457B 52 x 42 x 7 mm 45 x 45° bearings at both the top and bottom.

The frame uses M12 x 123 mm x 1.5 mm front and M12 x 169 mm x 1.5 mm rear thru axles (supplied).

When tightening the axles, you should not exceed 10 Nm.

We recommend you apply the following:

  • Lithium grease: bolts, bearings, thru-axles and pedal axles
  • Carbon Grip Paste – seat post and fork expander

The frame accepts a braze-on type front derailleur.

The carbon seat post can be trimmed to length, but we recommend that this be done by a professional bike mechanic.

Yes, the frameset is compatible with all the latest mechanical and electronic groupsets.
