Range depends on rider weight, terrain, tyre pressure, and temperature. As a guide, a 90 kg rider on mixed routes can expect up to 140 km on a full charge. Add the optional eX1 range extender, which increases the range by up to 55 km.

Yes. The CGR E CARBON-X is pedal-assisted, so it always requires rider input. Stop pedalling and it coasts to a stop. Just like a regular bike.

Absolutely. The motor only provides assistance when you pedal. You’re always in full control of speed and handling.

No. You don’t need a licence, tax or insurance to ride pedal-assisted electric bikes in the UK. That said, we always recommend having some form of bike insurance.

This typically requires tubeless valves, sealant and, in some cases, tubeless rim tape depending on the wheel specification. We recommend following the wheel and tyre manufacturer's instructions when converting to tubeless.
