If you're between sizes, we usually recommend going smaller. It's easier to tweak the fit with a longer stem or more seat post, while a bigger frame gives you less room to adjust.

Like all Ribble bikes, the ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT comes with a lifetime frame and fork warranty for the original owner. This covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. All other components, including third-party suspension forks, are covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty.

Yes, the ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT frameset is UCI-approved and has been raced extensively by our Outliers pro gravel team.

Yes. The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT is available with the optional RockShox Rudy suspension fork. This upgrade improves comfort and control on rougher gravel trails, helping you stay fast and confident when the terrain gets technical.

Yes. The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT features enhanced cable integration for a clean, cable-free look. Cables are hidden from view, protected from the elements and shielded from drag.

The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT comes with 45 mm gravel tyres as standard and can take up to 50mm, or 45mm with mudguards. The fork can also accept a 29 x 2.1" (700 x 53c) mountain bike tyre.

Yes, you can fit a rear pannier rack using an adaptor kit (sold separately) to boost carrying capacity.

Yes. A removable bridge makes fitting mudguards easy (mudguard bridge sold separately).

The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT is compatible with a 68 mm BSA threaded bottom bracket. Threaded bottom brackets offer key advantages over press-fit alternatives, including easier installation, simpler maintenance, and reduced risk of creaking. The robust, standardised design also makes removal and replacement more straightforward.

The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT features a 1.5" integrated headset and R457B 52 x 42 x 7 mm 45° x 45° headset bearings top and bottom.

The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT features a D-shaped carbon seat post with an integrated wedge clamp, compatible with both carbon and alloy saddle rails. Frame sizes XS–SM use a 280 mm post, while M–XL come with a 330 mm version.

There are two bottle cage mounts: one on the downtube and one on the seat tube. They’re compatible with Ribble aero cages.

The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT includes extra luggage mounts on the top tube and underneath the downtube.

The ULTRA-GRIT SPORTFIT has a maximum recommended system weight of 120 kg, including bike, rider and luggage.
