Yes. The ALLROAD SL R E features IP54-rated electronics. They’re splashproof but not waterproof, so don't submerge or pressure wash and always use a waterproof cover when transporting the bike.

The battery is internal. A MAHLE-certified technician can remove it via the bottom bracket shell if needed.

With the right care, both the MAHLE iX2 (236 Wh) and iX3 (350 Wh) batteries are designed to deliver around 500 full charge cycles while maintaining dependable performance. Refer to MAHLE's battery care guide for helpful advice.

Yes, enhanced cable integration offers a neat, cable-free appearance by keeping cables hidden, shielded from wind, and protected against the elements.

No, the handlebars can't be raised after the bike has been built, as the steerer tube is trimmed to the correct length during assembly. However, we include 30 mm of spacers, so you can lower the bars if needed; raising them further won't be possible.

Absolutely. The ALLROAD SL R E is fully compatible with the latest Shimano and SRAM electronic drivetrains.

The ALLROAD SL R E comes fitted with durable 32 mm road-focused tyres, but is designed to accommodate up to 38 mm. It’s also fully mudguard-compatible when running 32 mm tyres, thanks to discreetly integrated mounts.

We’ve found 35 mm tyres work best for a smooth ride and plenty of space. If you’re tackling light gravel, we’ve even managed to fit 38 mm Challenge Gravel Grinders without issue. Just keep in mind that chunkier tread patterns might be tight, and on XS frames, wider rims could see the maximum tyre width limited to 35 mm.

Yes. With the exclusive mudguard and pannier rack mounting kit, you can easily fit a pannier rack to carry everything you need. (Kit sold separately.)

Yes. A removable mudguard bridge makes fitting mudguards easy with tyres up to 32mm (kit sold separately).

Thanks to thru-axles front and rear, puncture repair is just like any other modern road or gravel bike. Remove the axle with an Allen key, take out the wheel, and repair as usual.
