The ALLROAD SL R comes fitted with durable 32 mm road-focused tyres but is designed to accommodate up to 38 mm tyres. It’s also fully mudguard-compatible when running 32 mm tyres, thanks to discreetly integrated mounts.

We’ve found 35 mm tyres work best for a smooth ride and plenty of space. If you’re tackling light gravel, we’ve even managed to fit 38 mm Challenge Gravel Grinders without issue. Just keep in mind that chunkier tread patterns might be tight, and on XS frames, wider rims could see the maximum tyre width limited to 35mm.
