As a seatpost
Its great plenty of forward and rear adjustment so you can get your own ride as comfy as possible..

Long and heavy
This is cheap and ok, but if your making a long cantilever beam it does need a stronger section and that is reflected in the weight. If you need 400mm then it seems like a good place to start

Good value for money
Nice seat post - perhaps a bit heavy although it is quite long. Not a really top quality item but excellent value for money.

Truly 5 stars
I don't dole out 5 stars because there is always room for improvement, but not in this case: not for $15 and change CAD.
"oh, but it's heavy...". No, it's not, once you chop off 50mm or more from it's outrageous 400mm length.
It has about 2cm worth of setback for those wondering.
I got a polished silver in a 27.2 for a modern but classy build (no black just silver). I have no idea why anyone would spend 4x the amount on a Ritchey classic when this clone exists.

What is the set back on this stem.
Thanks for your question.
This seatpillar has a 25mm offset/setback.
What's the post external diameter, and does it fit normal slim saddles?
The Size diameter can be found to the Size field on the right side of the page above the add to basket button, as of right now we only have in stock the 31.6mm post.
Can you tell me the wall thickness of the seat tube please to nearest 0.1mm,
Thanks for your inquiry,
Sorry, we are not able to provide such information, we take all product details from the manufacturer's own specifications. They have never to our knowledge ever divulged wall thicknesses of seatposts so we do not have such details, unfortunately.
