The Endurance SL R Series is our flagship carbon endurance bike, this high-performance frameset is superlight (frame sub 900g) and the truncated aerofoil profile of the tubes makes it the lightest and one of the fastest packages that we offer.
Whether it’s your favourite or nemesis ride, you visualise it in your head the night before, you know the roads like the back of your hand, every corner, climb and descent it’s as if you were there already….then press start, click in, change down, you're off, the anticipation as you glide out of town and onto the rolling roads up to the foot of the first climb. The headwind doesn’t bother you “tailwind home" you say to yourself.
As the climb draws near you're conserving energy ready ahead of the first challenge of the day, the climb rolls on and you pass a few riders in their own moment of pain and ecstasy, the gradient steepens but you're feeling good, 100m to go that final push out of the saddle and the PB is yours, the first of many today. Then focus your mind for the rewarding descent, the spoils for your effort unfolds in front of you, swooping down it’s as if you’re on rails, the swish of the tyres and the sound of the wind, at one with the machine.

THE SL R SERIES
The SL R frameset is manufactured from a carefully selected blend of Toray’s T1000 and T800 carbon fibre, using more of the T1000 carbon layup than any other frame in the Ribble range. This unique mixture of carbon is layered to an
exacting specification using an advanced monocoque mould technology, incorporating an EPS inner core system which ensures complete consistency of the structural integrity of the fibres and resin throughout the frame. This system also
eliminates excess material on the inside of the frame and in turn eliminates any weak spots in the construction.
Aerodynamics have been a major consideration in the development of the new Endurance SL with the new frameset generating up to 28.5% less drag compared to the previous generation.
Aerodynamic drag saving features include,
Truncated aerofoil down tube
Aero fork blade profile
Truncated aerofoil seat tube and seat post
Internal cable routing
Optional aero one piece cockpit enabling all cables to be routed internally and away from the airflow generating over 40% less drag compared to a conventional bar and stem set up (disc brake version has all cables completely hidden and
caliper brake just the front brake cable).
Power transfer and torsional stiffness have been taken into account through the tapered downtube, oversize BB area and box section chainstays ensuring that your power wattage is efficiently transferred to forward motion. The tapered fork
steerer, oversize headtube area and fork profile ensure that front end stiffness is taken care for out of the saddle efforts.
Comfort through road surface impact and vibration absorption is very important in an Endurance bike and the specific shapes and profiles of the seat stays, seat post and carbon cockpit ensure that the Endurance SL is smooth and comfortable
over rough road surfaces and long distances.
The SL R frameset has discreet mudguard mounts and tyre clearances for up to 30c tyres ensuring that the Endurance SL R can be ridden in all season and weather conditions.
The SL R Series frameset is manufactured from a carefully selected blend of Toray’s carbon using more of the T1000 grade than the standard SL and layered to an exacting specification to reduce weight without compromising stiffness and strength. The frame is crafted using advanced monocoque mould technology incorporating an EPS inner core system which ensures complete consistency of the structural integrity of the fibres and resin throughout the frame. This system also eliminates excess material on the inside of the frame.

Great to ride not harsh or dead, love the clean looks of the integrated cockpit. Handles really well not at all twitchy or nervous, also seems to roll a lot easier than my other bike on tubeless tyres, that might just be because this bike is lighter.
Nothing but praise for the entire process from using the bike builder to the finished article delivered on time.
The value for money is exceptional. I have changed from an Italian brand that I adore but the equivalent in that brand would be at least double the cost with no discernible benefits in quality.
The Ribble Aero 883 came out on top in the BikesEtc magazine Aero Bike Challenge group test winning the Gold Award and it’s proved such an amazing bike that we developed a disc brake model. Its short top tube and head tube mean that the Aero 883 Disc is perfect for both road racing and triathlon and offers a lower aerodynamic front position. The Aero 883 Disc is our most aerodynamic disc road frame with added stopping power.
