Ribble Ambassador Programme — Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern entry into and participation in the Ribble Ambassador Programme (the “Programme”) run by Ribble Cycles (“Ribble”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Promoter
The Promoter of this Programme is Ribble Cycles, a trading name of CycleSport North Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04149504, whose registered office is at 363 Leach Place, Walton Summit Centre, Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire, PR5 8AS.
2. Eligibility
Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
You must already own a Ribble bike at the time of entry.
Employees of Ribble Cycles, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected to the Programme are not eligible to enter.
One entry per person. Where multiple entries are posted by the same person, only the first valid entry will be considered.
You do not need to be an established content creator or have a large following to apply — selection is not based on follower count.
Entrants must have a public Instagram account, or otherwise make their entry visible to Ribble, for the duration of the entry period and selection process, so Ribble can view and assess entries.
Entry itself is free — no purchase is required beyond already owning a Ribble bike.
3. How to Enter
The entry period opens on Monday 20 July 2026 and closes at 9:00am on Monday 3 August 2026 (the “Closing Date”).
To enter, post a 15–30 second Instagram Reel on the theme of “Why You Ride Ribble”, showing why you ride and what riding means to you. You have full creative freedom in how you tell this story.
Your entry must mention @ribble_cycles and use the hashtag #ribblerides, either in the caption or within the video itself, for it to be considered.
Entries must be posted publicly and remain visible for the duration of the entry period and the selection process that follows.
Ribble is not responsible for entries that are not received due to technical issues, privacy settings, or any other reason outside our control.
4. Selection of Ambassadors
10 successful applicants (“Ambassadors”) will be selected from all valid entries received by the Closing Date.
Selection is made at Ribble’s sole discretion, based on genuine enthusiasm for riding, creativity, and authenticity, with the aim of representing a range of riding styles and disciplines. This is a skill and judgement-based selection, not a random prize draw.
Ribble’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding selection decisions.
Entries will be reviewed after the Closing Date and the 10 Ambassadors will be announced the same day, contacted by Instagram direct message using the account that made the entry.
If a selected applicant does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, Ribble reserves the right to select an alternative applicant in their place.
5. Rewards
Each of the 10 selected Ambassadors will receive a £50 parts and accessories voucher on confirmation of their place in the Programme.
Ambassadors who complete the Month 1 mission (see Section 6) will receive a £50 cash reward, provided the submitted content meets a reasonable standard of quality and relevance to that month's brief, as determined by Ribble acting reasonably. The same principle applies to future monthly missions and their associated rewards.
Rewards for Months 2 and 3 will be confirmed separately and communicated in advance of each month’s mission.
Rewards are not transferable, have no cash alternative except where a reward is explicitly stated to be a cash payment, and cannot be exchanged for a different reward.
It is each Ambassador’s own responsibility to determine whether any reward received under this Programme needs to be declared for tax purposes. Ribble does not provide tax advice.
6. The Programme
The Programme runs as a 3-month trial from the date each Ambassador’s place is confirmed.
Each month, Ambassadors will be asked to complete a themed “mission” — a piece of content created in response to a brief provided by Ribble — and post it to their own social channels within the timeframe given.
Ribble reserves the right to amend, pause, or discontinue the Programme, or any individual Ambassador’s participation in it, at any time and for any reason, including before the 3-month trial period ends.
Participation in the Programme does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between Ribble and any Ambassador.
7. Use of Content and Intellectual Property
By entering the Programme (posting an entry video using #ribblerides and mentioning @ribble_cycles), you grant Ribble a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to view, share, repost, and feature your entry on Ribble’s own organic social media channels, in email communications, and on the Ribble website, in connection with the Programme.
This entry licence does not by itself extend to use of your content in paid advertising. As a condition of being selected as an Ambassador and receiving the rewards set out in Section 5, you agree that Ribble may use your entry video and any mission content in paid advertising, across Meta and other channels. Before each specific use, Ribble will contact you by direct message to confirm the exact content, platforms, and duration involved.
Where Ribble uses your content in paid advertising, that use will run for a fixed period confirmed at the time (the ‘Usage Term’), and in any event for no longer than 12 months from the date the content is first used in paid advertising. Content already confirmed for paid advertising use will continue to run for its agreed Usage Term even if the Programme or your involvement as an Ambassador later ends — except where your involvement ends because you have breached these Terms or the Code of Conduct in Section 8, in which case Ribble may also stop using that content immediately.
As part of this process, Ribble may ask you to add Ribble as a partner or collaborator on your post (for example, via Instagram's branded content or partnership tools), so that content can run as an ad directly from your account. Where this method is used, you will need to grant that permission through Instagram's own tools before the content can be used in this way.
You confirm that any content you submit is your own original work, that you own or have obtained all rights necessary to it (including the likeness of anyone else who appears in it), and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
You remain the owner of your content at all times. Ribble’s rights are limited to those set out in these Terms and, for paid advertising use, the process described above.
8. Code of Conduct
Entries, and all content created as part of the Programme, must be appropriate and must not be offensive, discriminatory, or misleading, and must comply with Instagram’s own terms of use and community guidelines.
Ribble reserves the right to disqualify any entry, or remove any Ambassador from the Programme, that it reasonably believes breaches these Terms or brings Ribble into disrepute.
9. Data Protection
Ribble will process personal data submitted or made available as part of this Programme (including your Instagram handle, entry content, and any details provided if you are selected as an Ambassador) in accordance with UK data protection law and Ribble’s Privacy Policy [link].
Data collected during entry review will be retained only for as long as necessary to run the selection process, and deleted or anonymised thereafter, except for data relating to the 10 selected Ambassadors, which will be retained for the duration of the Programme and in line with Ribble’s standard retention policy.
10. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Ribble reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version published at [ribblecycles.co.uk/ambassador-terms] at the time of your entry will apply.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Ribble’s liability for matters which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Questions about the Programme can be sent to [email protected].
