ALL-TERRAIN PERFORMANCE
& VERSATILITY

Shimano’s 105 groupset is the entry point into 11-speed shifting and has established itself as the most popular choice on the market today. Thanks in no small part due to the exceptionally smooth, precision shifting performance and incredible value. With the addition of Mavic’s ever-reliable Aksium wheelset this ensures maximum reliability as well as long term durability. With a generous tyre clearance plus mudguard and rack compatibility, the CGR AL is designed to excel both on or off-road and across a variety of surfaces.

Bike of the Year Finalist
GROUPSET

Shimano 105 benefits from technology and features trickled down from its premium tier siblings and makes this ‘pro level’ shifting performance more accessible. Shimano’s own 105 hydraulic disc brakes are supremely powerful with superior modulation for complete braking confidence.

WHEELSET

Mavics Aksium wheelset's impressive strength to weight ratio, reliability and durability makes them the obvious choice for any multi-terrain bike. Schwalbe G-One tyres are a multi-purpose tyre with impressive grip and fast rolling ride characteristics for rides on paved surfaces, gravel or out on the trails.

FINISHING KIT

The finishing kit is an all LEVEL affair consisting of LEVEL 1 alloy handlebars and stem with a lightweight LEVEL 2 carbon seatpost. Completing the build and providing additional comfort in the contact areas is a foam padded Prologo Kappa RS saddle, LEVEL embossed bar tape and a set of Ribble full coverage mudguards for protection from the elements.

My first ride on my brand new Ribble CGR AL was unbelievable - that's not the right word but I'm struggling to describe how brilliant the experience was. I was going to just ride round the local area for 10 minutes to get a feel for it but ended up being out for an hour - the whole time with a big grin on my face. I can honestly say I have never ridden a bike that has given me such a great feeling. It's light, responsive, fast, smooth and so comfortable. It has rekindled my love for cycling (after a few years of riding a bike that I actually don't like very much) so much that I can't wait to get out on it again. I know that I will be doing more mileage on my CGR than on any other bike I have ever owned. I simply love it!

Ordered a Ribble CGR Al gravel bike through the buy 2 work scheme and treated myself with a groupset upgrade and few xtra bits on the build my bike.
The process from start to finish was excellent and to cap it all took delivery earlier than the expected delivery date initially given.
Throughout the process Ribble kept me informed on every aspect from first ordering to build and then delivery.
In all can’t fault it.
This is my third Ribble bike over the years and won’t hesitate to reorder the next time I’m in need of a bike.
The CGR Al is a fantastic commute bike but great if you want that off road experience to beat the traffic down those rugged country bridle ways. Brilliant bike.
