Re my new CGR E bike.
Well done Ribble.
Everything was brilliant.
Came on time.
Kept me informed along the way.
Came boxed perfectly.
The bike came built already, just had to do seat and handle bars.
First ride out was great fun.
Ribble was spot on with the bike size.
Battery was spot on. Just had to adjust settings on the App due to living in Yorkshire. “all them hills”
Found that the battery lasted a lot longer on my second ride.
Felt like I was back on form again. Back with the lads and been able to keep up.
So Ye perfect.
Ps may need a Range extender for the longer days out in the summer.
Received my CGR Ale about a month early which was a great result. Have thought long and hard about moving to electric and a dodgy knee gave me that extra push. So all surplus bikes were sold to help finance my new toy and I'm very glad I went down this road. The bike itself is a joy to ride and the added help with the motor is exceptional. Haven't actually got it into Red mode as the lower level seems to help in all situations. It is nice to know you have reserve to help you along. Where I live you go uphill from base and it continues like that for most rides but roads are quiet and getting back into biking is a delight. Went for shimano105 with 35mm tyres which suits my style and the level of the road surface these days. The disc brakes are good although not been used in anger as yet. The emotion app is a bit temperamental but the Garmin keeps me right. Didn't want the bike being too crowded with electronics. Put my own mudguards on and fit is perfect. I can't find any faults and most impressed with Ribbles CS as any question I put on the facebook page gets a personal email or plenty of helpful ribble riders helping with questions. Was a Giant rider for 15 years but the Ribble fraternity is more my cup of tea. Haven't tried it off road yet but will on way home from a ride someday on local forest trails.
