This combination of the Shimano Tiagra groupset and Mavic Aksium wheelset is a tried and tested combination. For a bike that offers great versatility with precise gear changes and reliability over any terrain then this is a great choice. The CGR alloy is designed to excel both on and off road thanks to its versatility and wide range of tyre clearance plus the additions of mudguards and rack mounts.

As my first drop bar bike with clips there was potential for disaster plus as a 130kg bloke I was concerned how the bike would cope. However the more rugged construction of the gravel bike has been a revelation with the slightly flared bars making for a really comfortable cycling experience.
Other than the absence of the 'climb hills like a pro' button it's an amazing bike really confident on descents taking poor surfaces with ease and no flex getting up out the saddle even with a lot of weight and force going through the drive train. Love the bike and Ribble as a supplier were brilliant and couldn't help enough when picking the bike up taking through all key maintenance and inspection points without patronising a relatively novice cyclist.
I've put about 60 miles on my CGR in the first week and every mile has been an absolute joy. I live in Wisconsin where the roads are pretty rough, and this bike handles the bumps extremely well. The frame angle and saddle position are very comfortable for my 6'3" frame, even after riding for an hour or more I am still happy to keep going.
The service from Ribble has been incredible, I had a few questions and they were all answered extremely quickly. The bike arrived and was easily put together in less than an hour.
I will continue to recommend Ribble to all of my riding buddies, and anyone looking for a new bike.
