Let's start with the positives - the frame is well made with a pretty good quality finish (but not perfect - see negatives), sizing seems correct, threaded bottom bracket (my preference). The frame rides well for road and 'gravel' type riding - frame angles and long enough wheelbase / chain stays make it a nice mixture of responsive but not twitchy. Comfortable over rough ground, laterally stiff for good pedalling response / efficiency. The frame has some great features like the ability to route brake lines through the headtube / frame / fork as the 1.5" headset gives room and the fork has a tunnel in the steerer down to the fork blade for the brake line. Gives a really clean 'no cable' finish if you have a suitable headset / stem / bar combination. By the way if you are looking for a headset / stem compatible with this frame for internal cable routing, Token have just released Cable Box - the A-box fully integrated system or S-box with cables going into the headset cover from the bars - I mention this as one of the negatives is the supplied headset.
The negatives - frame finish has a few blemishes and marks, not a big deal, but it's not perfect. My bike did not ship with all the pieces it should have, or the extras I had ordered. That took 2 weeks to sort out. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful, but nevertheless they didn't actually sort the problem out and I had to contact Ribble 5 times. The biggest negative is the supplied headset - firstly mine had the correct pieces missing. But even the correct pieces don't allow you to use the internal head tube cable routing features of the frame. All that would be needed is a headset top cover with purpose drilled holes for cables. You can achieve this if you order Ribbles own integrated bar and stem - but that won't be the right design for many people, certainly was not for me. So you need to order a different headset if you're going for fully integrated cable routing. As noted above Token have now entered this fray, and FSA and Deda also make suitable headsets. But given Ribble have designed the frame with this neat feature, why supply a headset that's completely incompatible with full cable routing with the frame??

I'm in Australia so ordered after one of my riding buddies had done so. Frame was neatly packed and arrived promptly. It was missing a seat clamp but a few emails and pictures later one was sent and this didn't disrupt the timeframe of me building it up. Nicely finished frame inside and out and does have some nice details when it comes to helping it go together like cable/hose liners. Starting to be a little behind the game when it comes to gravel design (no third bottle mount, bento box mount or fork mounts) but think of it more of a all around bike (as the name suggests) rather than a multi day adventure bike and you will do fine. All in all, highly recommend for someone whose budget doesn't stretch to other bikes like Open U.P or the high end brands.
