I have ridden my CGR Ti for ten months (and ~3000 km) on various surfaces and I like it a lot. The bike has tackled fast paced training rides, relaxed weekend gravel rides and bikepacking trips with ease. During the rides I rarely think about the bike, which is nice.

The frame is smooth and stiff at the same time. I personally would be ok with less stiffness and even more compliance, but I guess this would generally be considered a bad thing when it comes to racing and power output. Anyways there is a nice vertical compliance as it is, thanks to the flat profile of top tube. I opted for full carbon seat post, which adds to the comfort. Titanium finish looks nice and I especially love the carelessness of the material. For example I don't have to tape the frame to protect it from straps of the frame bag.

The riding position is pretty upright, at least with the supplied spacers. It could be lowered by slamming the stem, but then again I would not be able to fit my handle bar roll for bike packing (size S frame). I like the relaxed riding position, but I can imagine that for somebody coming from for example road racing it could feel too upright.

The GRX 810 groupset is nice. I especially like the shape of the hoods that is very ergonomical and grippy. Braking power and modulation are on point.

There have been a couple of problems too, though. The headset was a little loose from the beginning, which left a little gap between the fork and headset. Another and more annoying problem has been the shifting problems, which my LBS thinks is caused by tight cable routing. My rear derailleur has not been working perfectly since I got the bike and this is something that I hope to get fixed during the off-season. I have contacted Ribble about these matters and they have been very helpful about everything.

The bike had 650b wheels with WTB Byways which are nice allround tires. I bought 47 Senderos for winter riding here in Finland and the setup has worked well for that. In the summer I bought 700c GRX wheels and set them up with 40 Vittoria Terreno Dries that is a great allround tire that handles everything from (easy) trails to tarmac. The frame accommodates both wheel sizes well, with 650b's it is a little bit more nimble and extra tyre clearance is welcomed. With 700c's come the better stability and rolling which are nice to have on long allroad rides.

All in all, the bike has been everything I expected and a little more. It is a quiver killer that makes it very hard for me to justify buying more bikes. I hope that the frame will last forever.
I was slightly apprehensive as 1x transmission and 650B wheels was quite a change from my carbon endurance road bike.
Would it be slow like my old hardtail mountain bike? Had I spent £3k to end up with a bike similar to my endurance road bike? Would it be the worst of both?
I needn’t have worried. Not quite so quick as my road bike but within 1-2 kph on my usual run. Excellent handling, arm chair comfort even on a first ride before adjusting set up, just what I wanted.
The 1x transmission? Well I used top gear more than usual and I was spinning out downhill on the road but this is a bike to explore on not a bike to race on.
It seems I now have the ideal “do anything” bike. Commute, tour, family day out, backroads adventure... it can do it all. I am already thinking about a set of 700c wheels to use it more on the road.

And I nearly forgot... it looks amazing.
