THE PERFECT
ADVENTURE

Road, gravel, or trail the CGR Ti certainly ticks all the boxes. This highly versatile machine is designed to do it all. The sport edition is equipped with the exceptionally smooth, precision shifting performance of Shimano’s 105 11-speed complete and powerful 105 hydraulic disc brakes. Mavic’s ever reliable Aksium wheelset with the all-terrain versatility of Schwalbe G-One Allround tyres are a highly capable wheelset for year-round riding.

Additional versatility is provided by the inclusion of a set of fitted Ribble 46mm reinforced plastic mudguards for improved all-season wet weather protection and mounting points for a rear pannier rack, to take care of any luggage carrying needs.

GROUPSET

Shimano 105 benefits from technology and features trickled down from its premium tier siblings and makes this ‘pro level’ shifting performance more accessible. Shimano’s own 105 hydraulic disc brakes are supremely powerful with superior modulation for complete braking confidence.

WHEELSET

Mavic Aksium wheels offer the incredible performance and durability you would expect to find on premium race wheels and are ideal for everyday riding. Schwalbe G-One tyres are a tubeless-ready, multi-purpose tyre with impressive grip and fast-rolling ride characteristics whether on paved surfaces, gravel or out on the trails.

FINISHING KIT

The complete Level cockpit consists of matching Level 1 6061 alloy handlebars wrapped in a comfortable Level cork tape matched with a LEVEL 1 6061 alloy handlebar stem. Completing the finishing kit is a LEVEL 2 carbon seatpost fitted with a Prologo Kappa RS saddle and a set of Ribble 46mm mudguards.

What an outstanding bike. I am loving my titanium CGR sport. I bought this to ride gravel, commute into town, and for long winter road rides, leaving my carbon bike #1 for dry summer days.

Well worth the wait. I am in love with this bike. I have had it just under a month and I have ridden over 1,000km on it. Two thirds on the road and the rest on the trainer.

With the Mavic Allroad wheels I ordered with it, set up tubeless with 40mm Schwable G-One tyres, this has to be the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. It absorbs the bumps beautifully. And that rolling set up doesn’t slow the bike down. I have been setting Strava personal bests on my morning commute.

I have also bought a second wheelset, for winter road riding. Lightweight Hunt aero wheels with tubeless 32mm Continental GP5000 tyres. Boy does it fly. First outing was a 50km ride, averaging 35kph. On a metal bike with mudguards…

I can’t fault the 105 group set at all. I went for this spec because I expect to do a lot of miles, in all weathers. The shifting is crisp, the breaking is outstanding, and best of all, when the components get worn, replacing them will be good value.

The hype is true. This is a bike that can do it all. Even with one wheel set, it is hugely versatile. But with the addition of the lightweight road wheels giving me another option, it will be my ‘go to’ bike most of the time. It’s also a real head turner too, in its shiny titanium loveliness. Don’t lie, you know that’s important….

I ordered my Ribble CGR Ti in April and had to be patient and wait until October for delivery. Am I happy with it? Yes, absolutely.
I bought it for it's longevity and looks, and hoped for a great ride quality. If you hit a pothole you'll still know about it; it does absorb some of the roughness on surface dressed roads; but where it really comes into it's own is the way it seems to flex and float over undulations.
I intended it to be a winter bike, but I'm starting to rethink that. I may end up riding it all year round!
