The bike came well packaged. I fitted the handlebar and seatpost and seat, fitted pedals and rode outside my house to set up seat height. Next day I tested it out off road on some local trails. Let some air out of the tyres to 40psi and the bike was very responsive and very comfortable. It felt faster than the actual average speed I achieved and the gear changing and braking was spot on. Over the moon with this bike and looking forward to a longer ride out and tackling some CX races when they begin again in September
I ordered my Ribble CX after shopping around for weeks. I have never bought a bike without trying it out or even seeing it in person beforehand. Initial I was disappointed to find out after placing the order there was at least a 21 working day time scale. The dread of not knowing what I had bought and having to wait for it to come was killing me. From placing the order to receiving the bike was 15 working days. Communicate from Ribble during this time was good.
As for the bike, this is a new addition to my collection. With not knowing much about Cyclocross I chose an entry level bike. I come from a triathlon background. The bike has an aggressive positioning but rides perfectly. The bike is very comfortable but direct and responsive. I have no complains about the bike. It seems too nice to get it dirty!
At delivery of the bike I notice a few very minor visual imperfections. I contacted Ribble immediately and they sorted it all out with ease.
