My first ride on Ribble Endurance bike was a joy. A good test for the bike was up the Teign Valley dropping down to Moretonhampstead and back via East Dartmoor here in South Devon.
No strava records for me
Im not a cyclist - Im more of a Mum on a bike. I use my Friday off to do 20 miles round Longridge fell which has some hills but is not a savage up and over the top. Occasionally I do 30 taking in Dunsop Bridge and very occasionally if the weathers decent I do the 50 over the Trough of Bowland.
My new Ribble bike is great. The gears are much slicker and when it was icy I had far more confidence in the brakes than my old bike.
I was worried that the saddle wouldnt be comfy on a new more streamlined bike - but it is. Really surprisingly comfy.
I can see me getting some miles in on this.
The Endurance SL R Series is our flagship carbon endurance bike, this high-performance frameset is superlight (frame sub 900g) and the truncated aerofoil profile of the tubes makes it the lightest and one of the fastest packages that we offer.
