I’ve e had my bike for a week or so now and must say apart from some build niggles that are being sorted this week the bike is brilliant.
I’ve mainly been using it on low assist as I mainly want to use it as a fitness bike . The second time I went out on it I’d rode around 3 miles then realised it wasn’t even turned on . So even without the power input it’s a really easy bike to ride .
I’m 67 and only took up cycling 5 years ago so I was very pleased yesterday when I managed a very hilly 10 time trial in 37 minutes using only low assist .
Since I got the bike customer back up been very good and I’m taking the bike back this week to get a couple of minor issues sorted .
So all in all very pleased with my new bike . It’s a pleasure to ride it .
I bought the flat bar electric road bike for my wife. It was bought as a leveller so I can train harder and she could still come and enjoy it. It did not work out like that. I now cannot keep up on the climbs. She loves it and I get back feeling like I have replaced my legs with jelly. We did a total of 22 miles and the battery was at around 45% remaining across hilly terrain. She hasn't gonna above power assist setting 2. The 105 groupset is perfect for her and the bike itself looks like a normal bike, no ridiculous downtubes. Should the battery run out its light enough that it can still be ridden as a normal bike without a great deal of extra effort. Glad we spent the extra and got this instead of another we were looking at. Brilliant bike.
