Providing trail-shredding performance and durability, SRAM’s lightweight and smooth-shifting GX Eagle combines with the incredible compliance of a modern Reynolds steel frame to produce an epic ride for serious-minded singletrack slayers. This top-spec also benefits from the trail-smoothing performance of RockShox Revelation RC BOOST 150mm forks, Level 35 Disc wheels, and a high-end Level finishing kit consisting of lightweight XV 7075 alloy bars, XV 6061 CNC'd stem, and Level 150mm dropper post. A WTB Koda SL8 completes the build package with a lightweight, race profile.

GX Eagle offers all the same benefits as the NX, durability, quiet and efficient shifts but also utilises more advanced manufacturing techniques and materials to lighten the groupset even further. Guide-R hydraulic disc brakes provide the no-nonsense stopping power that allows you take on the gnarliest of trails or most technical singletrack, safe in the knowledge of being in complete control.


Bombproof Level 35 wheels provide great strength and durability thanks to a 32 spoke construction and smooth as silk sealed Japanese steel bearings. Tubeless Ready and featuring an external diameter of 35.5mm and internal diameter of 30mm allowing the tyres to sit lower on the rim for better grip, comfort and rolling resistance. The latest evolution of the Maxxis Minion 2.6 tyres provide impressive traction whatever the terrain.



The finishing kit consists of a complete matched set of LEVEL XI 6061 riser bars with 9° backsweep and 5° upsweep and a 35x50mm 3D forged stem in a 35mm diameter for extra strength and comfort. Plus, there’s a Level 150mm dropper post to adjust saddle height whilst on the move. A WTB SL8 Race saddle and Level lock-on grips complete the cockpit. Rockshox Revelation RC Boost forks with 150mm of travel, 35mm stanchions for increased front-end rigidity, a 37mm offset allowing for better tracking of changes in terrain and Debonair springs providing a more consistent ride feel.

The only thing for me that lets the bike down is the holes for the internal cable routing. The holes are far to big for the cables and missing IMO gromits to seal these properly and save the british wet and slop from entering the frame.
But apart from that its awsome. Canny wait to get back to the trail centres.
Would highly recommend this bike build to anyone thats looking for a stable trail ready hardtail.

I am 18 stone (~110kg), I do a great deal of aggressive riding - downhill & dirt jumping and the bike has met my expectations so far.
