Project USA, Lawrence's epic American ride on the new CGR Ti. Watch his films.

July 11, 2018

Ribble Pro Cycling rider Lawrence Carpenter has  swapped his team edition Aero 883 race bike for something just a little bit different for a few weeks. We followed his progress in an epic ride across the USA via his popular Vlogs… Lawrence flew to the west coast of America at the end of June to join his friends James and Francis for a month-long bike trip from Southern California into the Nevada desert and Death Valley and then north to Portland, Oregon. For this epic and arduous ride we shipped Lawrence a very special bike hand built for the task  – an unsupported ride of roughly 2,250 kilometres (1,400 miles). We got a feeling that these ‘on the road’ blogs were going to become addictive viewing and that proved to be the case. Watch from the start of the adventure for how the guys have been getting on.

1: There's something I haven’t told you…

2: San Diego to LA on the Pacific Highway

3: Into the Mojave desert - the heat is on

4: We made it to Las Vegas!

5: Q&A with Francis and James

6: And what is that bike that Lawrence is riding?

7: Things get hot again in Death Valley?

8: Gravel is no problem for Lawrence and CGR Ti

Lawrence and James talk about the ride so far.

Watch other great Lawrence vlogs here.
